Builders warned

June 06, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:33 am IST - GURGAON:

All builders raising any kind of construction in Haryana will now have to take necessary precautions to ensure that no activity right from ferrying the construction material and storing it at the site, to raising a structure and removing the debris, emits dust or dirt in the air, and causes pollution.

Disclosing this here on Friday, a spokesman of the Town and Country Planning Department said that builders would have to strictly adhere to and comply with the orders issued by the National Green Tribunal (NGT) and the directions given the Union Ministry of Environment and Forest in this regard.

The NGT has ordered that every builder or owner should put tarpaulin on the scaffolding around the area of construction and the building.
