A Class IV student was allegedly sodomised by four other boys under Dankaur police station in Greater Noida, the police said on Sunday. They have booked all four accused under appropriate sections. However, the minors have not been apprehended so far.

The victim lives with his family in Dankaur. The victim’s father approached the police on September 29 alleging that four minors had sodomised his son, the police said.

Severe pain

The man told the police that he took his son to a nearby private hospital after the boy complained of severe pain in the private parts. The doctors examined the boy and told the father that he had severe infection. They also told the father that they suspected the boy had been sodomised.

On enquiry, the boy narrated his ordeal. “The victim told the family that he befriended the four minors, who live in the same locality a few months ago. They would play with the boy near his home. Later, they took him to an isolated place and sodomised him,” said a senior police officer.

Murder foiled

The victim told his family that he was being sodomised for the last two months.

Elaborating, the police said the accused allegedly tried to kill the victim once but their plan was foiled due to a passer-by. The accused also threatened the victim with dire consequences, the police said.

Medical examination

The boy is currently recuperating in a hospital. The police said the medical examination has been conducted and they are awaiting the final report.

Dankaur police station incharge Farmood Ali Pundhir said an FIR has been lodged under several sections based on a complaint by the victim’s father. Further investigation is under way.

Three days ago, a 40-year-old man was arrested for raping his 16-year-old daughter for the past couple of years in Noida. The Noida police arrested a man on September 18 for allegedly raping his minor niece after giving her sedatives in Sector 15.
