Agra girl dies, cousin kills self

An Agra youth was found dead on Thursday, hours after his 15-year-old cousin, who was allegedly set ablaze by two men in the district, died at a hospital in the Capital, police sources said.

The girl died at Safdarjung Hospital, where she was brought after being set on fire on Tuesday. The police had later called her cousin for questioning, sources said.

The youth’s body was found on the terrace of his house in Lalau village in Agra. A forensic team also found some poisonous substance at the site.

The girl was put on ventilator on Wednesday night. She died at 1.30 a.m. on Thursday. The police are on the look out for the two unidentified accused.
