A 70-year-old man, identified as M. Maran, was rescued by the police while begging in a pity condition near Uthukuli and subsequently reunited him with his family ay Karaipalayam.
He was traced while roaming aimlessly near Kaithamalai temple, near Uthukuli town.
The man had two sons and a daughter.
The district police administration, in a release, had appealed to the youth to take care of their parents well during the fag end of their life.
