The Nilgiris district administration began on Sunday its preparations for the flower show. A release from the administration said that Collector P. Shankar inaugurated the preparation for the 119{+t}{+h}flower show to be held from May 15 to 17 by placing pots in the gallery.
This year, the Horticulture Department would place 15,000 pots of 185 varieties of flowers for display. Inca marigold, French marigold, Flax petunia, Begunia, aster and several other floral varieties would treat the visitors.

In the new park, which was part of the Government Botanical Garden, 6,000 floral pots in various shapes would welcome visitors, the release added.
