Amrita University’s School of Business finds a mention in the United Nations Sustainable Literacy Test (Sulitest), perhaps the only Indian institution to do so, says a release from the University.

The High-Level Political Forum at the UN released the 2019 report from Sulitest, which evaluates knowledge on sustainable development goals among students in higher education.

Amrita University teaches sustainable development across disciplines and the management students study a course on environment management and sustainable development.

Sulitest is an integrated part of the course, the release says.

It also says that in the last four years, over 1,000 students have taken the test successfully and the institution figures in the annual report by UN on the basis of number of tests taken per academic organisation.
