To create awareness about the health problems due to faulty food habits, the students of Rabindra Bharathi School, Gajuwaka Branch , organised a creative programme in their school premises. They prepared the charts and made a comparative study of junk food and home-made food items. They also gave presentations on the bad effects of junk food. School principal V. Sai Devasena appreciated the creative work of the students and said they must follow their message.

An exhibition titled “How things work in our daily life” was organised by students of Westwood International School recently. The exhibition highlighted the importance of food, shelter, clothes, transport, communication and hygiene in daily life. The students explained how domestic appliances work and the role of maths in our daily life, how science work in the homes and how the weather affects our life. The students brought out succinctly the working principles of several gadgets and also about heart attacks, pains, allergies, cyber attacks and other topics revolving around daily life. School principal H. Ravichandran said that the exhibits made by the students will be kept in the school laboratories.
