Chef Shareef inherited his passion for culinary art from his ancestors. With this, he showcases the authentic flavours of Awadh, the region he comes from. Shareef is in Hyderabad at ITC Kakatiya with an exclusive menu at Kebabs & Kurries till October 15.

Shareef will not disappoint diners as he indulge them with timeless masterpieces such as Doodhiya kebab, (cottage cheese discs stuffed with creamy mashed potatoes flavoured with seasonings and caraway seeds) Lehsooni Jhinga (jumbo prawns marinated in a delectable yoghurt blend with chillies and hand pounded spices, garlic, cooked in the tandoor), Badami seekh kebab (tender rolls of succulent lamb mince, mixed with ginger, green chillies, and spices, hints of almond and saffron, cooked in the tandoor). Then there is the signature Gucchi Anar Biryani made with cheese-stuffed morels and pomegranate which is slow cooked on dum with Basmati rice. A must-try is the Khumb Ka Keema, a dish where wild mushroom mince and spring onions are cooked with tomatoes, garam masala and kasturi methi, with grated cheese. A dish for meat lovers will be the Dum Ki Raan whole leg of spring lamb, marinated in a mixture of malt vinegar and black cumin, braised in the marinade, skewered and cooked in tandoor, encased in dough and baked in the oven.

The fest is a la carte only, available for lunch and dinner.
