Sundar C, whose “Kalakalapu” is scheduled to hit the screens in May, will next work with Vishal on an action-filled entertainer. Karthika of “Ko” fame plays the heroine.

Shooting for the film will commence tomorrow with a song. According to a source, actor Sada of “Anniyan” fame is expected to perform this item number.

Interestingly, Sada has not performed an item number till now. Her last Tamil film was “Puli Vesham,” which released last year. The actor is at the moment focussing on Kannada films.

Who's in?

The list of artistes who will be part of the Tamil version of “Delhi Belly” seems to have been finalised. Santhanam, Premji, Arya, Hansika and Anjali are to play important roles. It has also been confirmed that Anjali will play the role of a journalist.

Shooting is all set to begin in the first week of May.

Says a source: “A huge set opposite the Binny mill is being erected for the film, which will have music by Thaman and cinematography by C. T. Muthiah. It looks like the title will be finalised in a day or two.” The Tamil version of “Delhi Belly” is being made by UTV pictures.

Wedding bells

Actor Prasanna, who is to marry actor Sneha in May, is busy with wedding preparations. Prasanna, whose next project is with director Rajan Madhav, has been going around, inviting friends from the industry for his wedding.

Says Prasanna, who recently met Kamal Haasan, Ajith and Vijay to invite them for his wedding, “Kamal sir was very busy with ‘Vishwaroopam' and had just returned from the U.S. However, he took time off to meet me. Ajith was warm and enquired how the preparations were going on.”

Prasanna adds, “Rajan's project is to start in June and Narain will also be part of the film. I have a couple of other projects in the pipeline.”
