Emotionally high

Switched , the first of the Trylle series is packed with mystery, romance, intrigue, action and surprise. Amanda Hocking, is a 28-year-old American writer from Minnesota, published the series online in April 2010 and has sold over a million copies since.

Hocking creates spectacular characters and moves her story forward at the speed of light, though at times there is a striking similarity with the Twilight and Harry Potter series, She captures teenage emotions very aptly.
