Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai

On time, every time

Abhishek Bachchan is reflecting dad Amitabh's professionalism, we heard. He was supposed to shoot with wife Aishwarya (it's all in the family, isn't it?) for a beauty soap commercial when he injured his back on the sets of Rohan Sippy's “Dum Maro Dum”. Apparently it wasn't a grievous injury and junior B was in quite a bit of pain. But he reported on time on the sets of the commercial the next day. Mercifully, he didn't have to move much. Above all, he didn't throw any starry tantrums.

Big dreams

He's a young boy with a lot of ambition. Sikander Agrawal, who played the young protagonist in the German-Bengali film “Shadows of Time” and is awaiting Sudhir Misra's “Tera Kya Hoga Johny”, in which he plays Johny, has now bagged a film with National Award-winning director Shivajee Chandrabhushan whose debut film was the critically-acclaimed “Frozen”. In his next film, “Mumbai Ferrari”, Shivajee also plans to tap the commercial angle of Bollywood and Sikander could just have stumbled upon his big break too.

Friends are forever

Networking helps. Think of what happened to Shilpa Shetty recently. Thanks to her friendship with Shah Rukh, the Shilpa's food chain in London bagged the order to supply SRK's “Ra.One” unit Indian food when they shoot in London for a month. We say that the fat sum exchanged must also be the reason for the happiness. On the menu, it is reported, will also be the infamous chicken curry which was the talk of the Big Brother house when Shilpa was there.
