Take care of your hands and nails

Now that we are almost in shape, having continued our work to enrich us internally and externally, we are now in the process of doing the final polishing. How we project ourselves is very important. We cannot be feeling or looking good just above our necks, can we? So let's do a minor therapy for our bodies.

Ears

We somehow tend to neglect our ears. Always keep the ears clean, both inside and outside.

Oral hygiene

There is nothing more disgusting than bad breath, especially when you are at work. The reasons could be many, sometimes even medical. It's imperative that we take proper care. Brush your teeth for three minutes at a time, twice a day. Floss before you go to bed. Use a mouthwash regularly. Gargle and rinse your mouth well after every meal. Visit your dentist twice a year.

Arms and hands

Use a body lotion for your arms and hands after bath, especially people with dry skin. For dark and dry elbows, use a chair with an armrest, place half a lime and rest your elbows on them for half an hour. Alternately, scrub your elbows with the lime halves, wash off and apply cold cream. All women should keep their arms and underarms waxed and smooth.

Nails

Keep your nails trimmed and clean. Get a manicure done every month. The length of your nails in both the hands should be the same. Apply nail polish on both your hands and toes as well. If your nail polish chips off, remove the nail polish and reapply. Keep your nails free of nail polish frequently.

Legs and feet

Get a pedicure done once a month. If you use socks regularly, make sure you scrub your feet well, especially between your toes. Use fresh cotton socks for every change. Keep your toe nails trimmed and clean. Lather on cream after your bath to give it a smooth look. For cracked heel, before going to bed, cover it with cream and wear socks overnight. And women should keep their legs waxed and smooth.

Body

Have a bath twice a day. If you have body odour, make sure you apply soap/ bath gel twice and rinse off the soap well. Use a talcum powder and a body splash after bath. Dab perfume on the wrists, behind the ears and on the base of your neck.

General tips

Wear freshly laundered clothes. To make you energetic, shower with cold and hot water, alternately. Exercise at least four times a week. This will keep your body flexible and fit. Meditate twice a day. Drink 10 to 12 glasses of water every day without fail. Have generous helpings of vegetables and fruits every day.
