Stepping into the stylish Nest, the all-day dining restaurant of Howard Johnson Bengaluru is like entering another gastronomical dimension.

The pan-Asian and Indian cuisine at the restaurant, popularly known as HoJo, is rapidly turning into the hotspot for the global traveller, the corporate worker and the urban dweller. Located in Hebbal, the scenic glass building of HoJo towers over the prime business and urban spaces in the area, making it accessible to visitors and residents alike.

The salads, the international selection of meat, the Asian curries and the South Indian stews are all a must-try. The spread of the chef’s special signature butter chicken and the crowned fried prawns are a must try along with the buttered naans and phulkas.

The combination the Indian bread goes even better with the curd-topped dal that exudes appetising brilliance despite its simple presentation.

Meat lovers will renew their vows with the mouth-watering rogan josh that blends the juiciest lamb with aromatic herbs and rich traditional spices to give the most pleasurable culinary experience. The old-school rice takes a new twist in this modern setting with savoury spices and flavours and makes a satisfying meal. The Asian spread of dishes also make a tasty surprise while foodies who favour continental can dig into some sumptuous varieties.

The desserts are a separate section by itself and a must try is the Indian sweet spread of rasmalai, lichi rabri, jalebi sandwich and anjeer badam halwa which make for a perfect after-meal treat. The other saccharine delights include the warm Swiss chocolate brownie, the tiramisu and the yummy chocolate bar and cheesecake.
