The Lioness

She is the one, who takes care of the cubs,

Who were fathered but ignored by the king.

The father forms fight clubs,

And enjoys the luxury earned easily.

The mother gets weakened at times

But powerfully wakes up to protect her cubs.

Even if they are left in a desert

She would dig deep the ground,

To find a Jerbug or Molhog for the cubs to relish,

Without even a morsel for her to eat.

If it rains, she makes a pit on the earth to store water,

And hunts to make meal.

During war she joins the King’s side

Snapping and pounding, not caring for her life.

She is impatient, she is intelligent

She is loyal, she is powerful

And she is the most perfect in the forest.
