One Halloween night, Alice dressed as a mummy. She had found the costume in an old chest in the cellar. She found a tag on it which said, “This costume was given to me by my husband. He killed me 29 years back. Please help me by wearing it.”

When she had worn the costume, she felt like taking revenge, so she disappeared. When Alice did not go back home, her parents were worried. When they checked her room, they found a note which said, “Whosoever wears this costume will become a mummy.” Alice’s parents were shocked. Her mother cried. Alice’s father decided to call the police .Meanwhile, Alice had fully transformed into a mummy. She recognised the person who had killed her. His name was George. The only problem was that when the mummy laughed, she turned back into Alice. So the mummy cried and cried so as to continue to be a mummy till she got her revenge. The mummy managed to find her husband who was now a thief. She strangled him. The mummy decided to reward Alice for her help. So she laughed and laughed and Alice reappeared.

Suddenly, she heard a voice from a distance, “Wake up, wake up. It’s time for school.” It was her mother waking her up. She realised that she was having a nightmare. She narrated the story to her parents and they all had a hearty laugh.
