How it’s done
Measure the size of the photo you want to frame. If the photo size is 12 x 6, 11.5 x 5.5 on the cardboard. It has to be a perfect rectangle.
Cut colourful pages of the magazine into strips of different lengths and roll them tight.
Seal the ends with glue so they remain in place.
Stick the rolls on the cut frame.
Stick your photo behind the frame and decorate it as you wish. Now your super-easy photo frame is ready to adorn your wall!
Friendship bands
Friendship band 1
Take three strips of satin ribbons or threads and tie the tips together. Stick the end onto a surface so that it is easy to braid .
To braid: Spread out the three threads. Take the one on the right and cross it over the centre. Then take the thread on the left and cross it over the one in the centre. Likewise, keep alternating the threads on the left and right till the end. Tie up the other end as well.
You can embellish your band with rhinestones, decorative beads or buttons and it is now ready to be tied!
Friendship band 2
Take as many colourful embroidery threads as you want — the thicker, the better. It should be long enough to go around your wrist twice.
Now hold them together lengthwise and begin twisting them from both ends.
Tie a string around the folded end leaving a small gap so that when you knot the open end, it can be inserted into the gap to hold it in place while wearing it around your wrist.
Once you feel it is taut enough, bring both the ends together while holding the centre of the thread. Now you will see the two ends automatically entwining to make a colourful band.
