Nadasurabhi’s Third Karnataka Vaibhava Festival of Music begins today at the Indian Heritage Academy Hall, Koramangala, Bangalore.
The inaugural concert will be by Carnatic vocalist S. Shankar, who will be accompanied by H.M. Smitha on the violin, B.R.Srinivas on the mridangam and Ranganatha Chakravarthy on the ghatam. On August 16, Bangalore Brothers, M.B.Hariharan and S. Ashok will render a Carnatic vocal duet. They will be accompanied by C.N.Chandrasekhar on the violin, H.L.Shivashankara Swamy on the mridangam and Bhagyalakshmi Krishna on the morsing.
On August 17, there will be vocal rendition by Vani Sateesh to be accompanied by Mathur R Srinidhi on the violin, C. Cheluvaraju on the mridangam, and Ranganatha Chakravarthy on the ghatam.
All concerts begin at 6 p.m.
