Sri Yogambigai samedha Kundaleeswarar temple is situated in Venbakkam village, which is 7 km west of Singaperumalkoil on the GST road from Chennai to Chingleput. The village was called Kalvaadi, named after the hill behind this temple known for its rare variety of medicinal herbs.

Sri Kundaleeswarar temple is situated on the banks of the lake in eesana moolai, a rare position. This temple is more than 300 years old and came tp light while the area dense with vegetation was cleaned. It is in a totally dilapidated state with only the lingam and the nandi remaining.

The Sivan koil baktha Jana Sabha, formed to carry out the renovation of the temple plans to construct the artha mantapam, sanctum sanctorum for the main deity, shrines for Ambal, Vinayakar, Subramanyar, Chandikeswarar and Navagraha. The cost is estimated at Rs. 20 lakhs. The Sabha appeals to devotees and philanthropists for funds.
