I have completed B.E. in Computer Science but I am not interested in the IT field. I want to establish a dairy farm. Are there any institutions which provide short-term courses in dairy and related fields?

I studied up to 10th Standard and Intermediate in a school and college but pursued graduation, postgraduation and M.Phil in the correspondence mode. I have taught History, Geography and related subjects in unaided private schools. I tried teaching at the Intermediate and college level as well. Though I was successful, I am not able to get permanent work, as my percentage in postgraduation and M.Phil is only 52 and 54 per cent respectively. My interest is in teaching. Please advice how I can make it to the teaching profession.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) (www.ugc.ac.in) stipulates the minimum qualifications for appointment of teachers. A minimum of 55 per cent marks or equivalent grade in a point scale is mandated as per the gazette notification at the entry level. If you fall under this category you will be eligible for the post of faculty member in the higher education domain.

You should consider taking up the regular (one-year) or distance education (two-year programme for in-service teachers) Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme as applicable and qualify to teach in high school or Intermediate/Pre-University Colleges.

I am studying B.E. (Construction Technology and Management). I am interested in pursuing PG abroad. Please provide me inputs and information on universities in Germany, United Kingdom and Australia.
