If you think Murder 2 is all about erotica you need to hear what the lead actor Emraan Hashmi had to say on his visit to the city at Reliance Digital store, Pinnacle Mall, Dwarka along with the director Mohit Suri for the promotion of his upcoming movie. “The movie has erotic scenes in it, bolder than those in the first one, but accept it or not, it is no different than the scenario in today's world, how friends live and behave with each other, their intimacy and lifestyle. Also, the movie is not only about the bold scenes, but it has a very strong storyline that keeps you guessing and is very unpredictable. And that is how the success or failure of a movie is judged by its audience.”

Erotic thriller

M urder 2 , sequel to the film Murder (2004), is an erotic thriller where lead roles are played by Emraan Hashmi and Jacqueline Fernandez. The film is directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Mukesh Bhatt under his production Vishesh Films. Also, Yana Gupta will be seen doing an item number titled “Aa Zara” which will not be aired on the small screen because it is too explicit. Instead, the number is re-shot with Emraan and Jacqueline for the TV audience. The original number with Yana Gupta will still be in the movie. The movie is about an ex-cop Arjun Bhagwat (Emraan) who worked for the Goa Police, and a case that comes up about girls missing in the State.

“Our producer is the happiest person and he has given us a wonderful support throughout the making of this movie,” said Suri. According to Emraan, Murder was a big game-changer for him and a bonafide hit and he has great confidence and expectations from the sequel.

Talking about the soundtrack of the movie, Emraan said, “I am lucky to always get such good hits. We worked very carefully in choosing them and it took us nine months to decide and pen down the lyrics.”
