Director Suseenthiran has announced his forthcoming film titled Kennedy Club , which will star Sasikumar and veteran filmmaker Bharathiraja in lead roles. Set against the backdrop of Palani, the film is reported to revolve around a women’s kabaddi team and is said to have a strong message for the audience.
D Imman has been roped in to handle the music, while RB Gurudev will handle the camera. The film also stars Soori, Munishkanth, Meenakshi, Gayathri and Soundarya in key roles. According to reports, Kennedy Club is expected to release on Tamil New Year’s Day next year. Suseenthiran made his directorial début with Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu , a sports-drama that became successful at the box office. Meanwhile, Suseenthiran awaits the release of Genius , which will hit the screens this Friday. The director also has projects like Angelina and Champion in the pipeline.
