‘Sarvam Thaala Mayam’ premières at TIFF

Cinematographer-filmmaker Rajiv Menon’s upcoming musical drama Sarvam Thaala Mayam premièred at the Tokyo International Film Festival, where it received good response from Japanese audiences. Sharing the news on Twitter, an excited Rajiv Menon wrote, “Thank you to all Japanese viewers who queued up after watching Sarvam Thaala Mayam at TIFF. Hope you enjoyed the grandeur of melody and the power of rhythm to unite people! And witnessed the journey of Peter against all odds.”

Sarvam Thaala Mayam marks Rajiv Menon’s return to direction after the celebrated Kandukondain Kandukondain (2000). AR Rahman has been roped in to compose music for the film, which will be his third association with Menon after Minsara Kanavu and Kandukondain Kandukondain . Starring GV Prakash Kumar and Aparna Balamurali in lead roles, the film is expected to release in December this year.
