It’s huge news for fans of Lizzie McGuire: her family’s all coming back.
Actors Hallie Todd, Robert Carradine and Jake Thomas will all come back along with Hilary Duff for the Lizzie McGuire revival on Disney+. Hilary Duff even shared a picture on Instagram of the reunion, posting, “#We are standing in what will soon be the McGuire living room. What’s up fam. We doin this.”
Original show creator Terri Minksy will helm the revival that helms the story of 30-year-old Lizzy, who is an assistant to a NYC decorator and has a nice apartment, but she could always use some help from her family and her animated alter-ego.
Todd played Jo, Lizzie's mom, while Carradine played her dad Sam, and Thomas played annoying little brother/occasional life-ruiner Matt, and they're all back to probably continue to lovingly embarrass Lizzie even at 30 years old. It’s all about adulting... along with her dad, mom and brother!
Lizzie McGuire will go intro production shortly and will arrive on Disney+ in 2020. The platform launches on November 12.
