Actor Siddharth-starrer Tamil musical gangster film “Jigarthanda" is likely to be remade in Hindi soon. The film’s producer says Bollywood producers have expressed interest in the remake.

“I have received calls from a few Bollywood producers who have expressed interest in remaking the film in Hindi, but nothing has been finalised. I can’t reveal more until anything goes on paper,” the film’s producer Kathiresan told IANS.

Also starring Simha and Lakshmi Menon, “Jigarthanda” is the story of an aspiring filmmaker who closely follows a real gangster to make a gangster film.

The Karthik Subbaraj-directed film, which released on August 1 after months of delay, has raked in over Rs. 10 crore at the Tamil Nadu box office so far.
