Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressing two election rallies in Gopalganj and Muzaffarpur, Bihar.

Highlights of his speech at the rally in Gopalganj:

1. I used to think, people who have been ruling Bihar for such a long time, they would have all the control. Then why do they need to abuse me?

2. Shrimaan Nitish Babu, there is winning and losing in elections. You got tired of abusing Modi, so you have started abusing Biharis?

3. Abuse me as much as you want but do not abuse Biharis.

4. Bihar is angry — because people of Bihar are asking for account of the work the government has done for the State.

5. Lalu Prasad Yadav made this area into a 'Mini Chambal' during Jungle Raj.

6. People were forced to leave Gopalganj.

7. In Abu Dhabi, I requested to meet the Indian people in Labour colony. There were mostly from Gopalganj, from Bihar.

8. If we want to deal with all the problems today, there is only one way i.e. 'Bihar ka vikaas'.

9. I will kill corruption in Bihar, I promise.

10. They have abused me so much, but they can never accuse me of corruption.

11. Recently, a minister from Nitish Babu's party was caught on camera while accepting bribe.

12. Why are you fooling the people of Bihar?

13. They took advance money to sell Bihar.

14. People of Bihar know what you have done for the state.

15. Do you want a Chambal-like situation again? There has been a lot of crimes in Bihar.

16. Education should be given to the youth of Bihar. For good education, choose ' Vikaaswali sarkar'.

17. The youth of Bihar is looking for job opportunities but the government is not giving any.

18. Isn't electricity necessary for development of the State? They promised you, then they betrayed you.

19. Bihar should be given 24-hours access to electricity.

20. We will work to provide proper healthcare for elderly people in Bihar.

21. When we started talking about 'Vikaas' they started talking about reservation.

22. Just because of I am from a backward class, I am not allowed to talk about development?

23. We trust the people of Bihar for 'Vikaas'.
