BJP will wrest Jharkhand, Bihar: Rudy

Published - November 15, 2014 01:47 am IST - Patna:

Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Rajiv Pratap Rudy exuded confidence on Friday that as in the case of Maharashtra and Haryana, the BJP would wrest Jharkhand and Bihar in the coming Assembly elections.

“Having conquered the Gateway of India [Maharashtra] and Haryana last month, we are confident of sweeping the Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir and Jharkhand. Later, the BJP will also wrest Bihar,” Mr. Rudy said.

Mr. Rudy defeated the former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi from the Saran constituency in the Lok Sabha election. He was Maharashtra in-charge of the party during the recent Assembly election.

Mr. Rudy and his Ministerial colleagues Giriraj Singh and Ram Kripal Yadav were felicitated by the State BJP on their maiden visit to Bihar after becoming Union Ministers.

At the Patna airport, they were received by a large number of party workers and leaders.
