Global Adjustments Foundation is observing International Women’s Day by organising a career-related workshop, which concludes on March 15.

According to a press release issued by the Foundation, for this five-day workshop, 25 college-going and career-seeking women were flown in from Nagaland. Together with 25 young women from Tamil Nadu (they are students of masters programmes at MOP Vaishnav College for Women), these women from Nagaland are being made career-ready.

The women from Nagaland and Tamil Nadu are co-mentoring each other. The workshop includes sessions stalwarts from various fields, the report said.

The workshop is free. Each of the women ambassadors created through this workshop is expected to impart life skills ten other women over a period of one year, the release said.

The curriculum covers physical, intellectual and emotional aspects of empowerment. Topics included improved CV writing, workplace expectations, career counselling, entrepreneurship, effective communication, intercultural leadership dimensions and public speaking, the release said.

The Foundation is promoted and supported by Global Adjustments, a pan-Indian service company that offers relocation services for expatriates and cross-cultural training for expatriates and Indians.
