Embiid finishes with career-high rebounds in win over Celtics

Joel Embiid scored 37 points and collected a career-high 22 rebounds as the Philadelphia 76ers won their sixth straight game with a 118-115 victory over Boston Celtics.

Embiid was well supported by Jimmy Butler, who scored 15 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter of the game. This enabled 76ers to overcome a nine-point deficit and seal their first win over Boston this season.

James Harden and Russell Westbrook, meanwhile, delivered huge performances in losing causes. While Houston Rockets’ Harden exploded for 57 points in their 126-125 overtime defeat to the Memphis Grizzlies, Oklahoma City Thunder’s Russell Westbrook notched up 42 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists in their 123-114 overtime loss to Toronto Raptors.
