Harish Bhat of Titan Watches takes off to write book on Tata

Titan Industries Chief Operating Officer (Watches) Harish Bhat will go on a nine-month sabbatical to pursue his passion for writing a book on the Tata Group.

He will go on sabbatical from April 1.

Consequently, H. G. Raghunath, now the Chief Manufacturing Officer of the Watches Division and who has been with the division for 25 years, will succeed Mr. Harish Bhat as Chief Operating Officer (Watches).

Additionally, L. R. Natarajan, now the Chief Manufacturing Officer of the Jewellery Division and who has also been spearheading the innovation initiatives in the company, will lead the business development function of the company as Chief Operating Officer.

Both the appointments are effective April 1, says a company notification to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
