The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) will hear the petition filed by Cyrus Mistry on February 13th. While hearing the matter on Tuesday, the bench accepted the request of senior advocate Aryama Sundaram, who appeared on behalf of the investment firms of Mr Mistry – Cyrus Investments Pvt Ltd and Sterling Investment Corporation Pvt Ltd – for an adjournment. The tribunal, however, made it clear that there will be no further adjournments and if the petitioner does not argue on the scheduled date then the matter would be dismissed. While Mr Mistry has been given two days – February 13th and 14th – to argue on the matter, Tata Sons would be allowed to respond on the 20th and 21st, said the NCLT bench headed by member B S V Prakash Kumar. — Special Correspondent
