The second day of the 11th edition of The Hindu Lit For Life began with a virtual inaugural address by Supreme Court Judge, Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul who said that there was a pressing need to rediscover and retake the public places in these uncertain and deeply polarised times. The day 2 events were held at two venues- TTK Auditorium and Kasturi Srinivasan Hall at Music Academy in Chennai.
While cricket player Wasim Akram recollected some of his best memories from his career and spoke about his autobiography Sultan of Swing, actor-writer Deepti Naval spoke about her book A Country Called Childhood and said she took 20 years to write the book, based on her diary, memories, and notes taken during her chats with her parents.
Other sessions of The Hindu Lit For Life saw writers, filmmakers and activists like P. Sainath, Avijit Mukul, Navtej Sarna, Amandeep Sandhu speaking on various topics.
