From the Archives: Indian Science Congress.

The final session of the Indian Science Congress was held at the Institute of Science, Bombay, on Saturday [January 18]. Not much business remained. The remaining presidential address that was not delivered on the previous day in the geology section was delivered by the President of the section, Dr. L.L. Former, his subject being “Some Problems of India.” Some half a dozen papers were read in connection with medical research including a paper on hookworm disease and one on the relationship between malaria in Amritsar and the previous weather. In the afternoon meetings of general and executive committees were held.
