: St. Joseph’s College of Engineering claimed the championship trophy in women’s basketball and athletics overall title in the Karunya University, Coimbatore, sports festival recently.
The men’s team collected 35 points to take the second place.
The results : Basketball : St. Joseph’s beat MOP Vaishnav 38-37; beat Avinasalingam College 46-21, beat SRM University 53-46. Final : St. Joseph’s beat Nanda Arts, Erode 68-44.
