Jaipur Pink Panthers kept its winning run intact by downing Patna Pirates 40-18 in the STAR Sports ProKabaddi league here at the Netaji Indoor Stadium on Saturday.

Maninder Singh led the charge for the Panthers, making 13 successful raids. Maninder combined well with Jasvir Singh as the team led 22-6 at half time.

The Pirates struggled with their attack, making only five successful raids while the Panthers had 13 successful raids and three successful tackles.

Panthers continued to dominate the second half with Rajesh Narwal joining Maninder and Jasvir in the attack. Panthers collected enough bonus points to take its points tally to 10 points from three matches while Patna Pirates remained on six points from one win and two defeats.

U Mumba on top

U Mumba strengthened its position on top of the standings quelling the challenge of hosts Bengal Warriors 38-29 in the last league match. Captain Anup Kumar and Shabeer Bapu Sharfudheen shared the greater spoil of the successful raids. Mumba struck a nice balance with attack and defence and got the host all-out on four occasions to ensure their dominance in the match.
