Joshna Chinappa and Dipika Pallikal set up an all-Indian semifinal clash at the WISPA Indian Challenger women's squash championship with comfortable wins over their quarterfinal opponents, here at the Indian Squash Academy here on Thursday.
The other semifinal will be contested by top-seeded Donna Urquhart and third-seeded Lisa Camilleri.
Second-seeded Dipika handed out an 11-6, 11-5, 11-6 thrashing to Australian Melody Francis, in a contest that lasted just 27 minutes. Joshna, seeded fourth, was equally severe on Misaki Kobayashi, registering an 11-4, 11-5, 11-6 win in less than half an hour.
Tenille Swartz of South Africa stretched Urquhart, but eventually fell in straight games, while Camilleri's win ensured that the top four seeds advanced to the semifinals.
