Clean bowled tops the mode of dismissals in the Indian Premier League (IPL) into its sixth season.
In all, 215 bowlers have contributed to the most emphatic dismissals on 762 occasions in a league that has so far featured 389 batsmen. Interestingly, it is the world’s greatest allrounder, South African Jacques Kallis who has been bowled 15 times in 78 innings (79 matches).
On 2,494 occasions batsmen have been caught (at the wicket 382 times, caught and bowled 123 times and in the outfield 1,989 times), trapped leg before 246 times, run out 440 times and stumped 141 times.
