We got scared: Pietersen

April 19, 2010 08:06 pm | Updated November 12, 2016 05:36 am IST - Bangalore:

Kevin Pietersen admitted that the players were tense ahead of Saturday's IPL game between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians, due to the bomb blasts outside the Chinnaswamy Stadium.

“Yes we got scared. Whatever has happened is unfortunate but I am happy with the security after that and the things that have happened after that (shifting of the semifinals).

“I am hoping to reach Mumbai soon and get back to business. With the incident that happened before Saturday's game, few of us were very rattled and once we get to Mumbai we can solely concentrate on the game,” the Royal Challengers' batsman said here on the sidelines of a brand promotion event on Monday.
