Yuvraj Singh’s book The Test of My Life , an account of his struggle with cancer, is set to be auctioned online to raise money for charity. Twenty copies of the tome, leather-bound and inscribed by Yuvraj, will go under the hammer on the auction portal collectibillia.com at 9 a.m. on Saturday.

Bids will open at a price of Rs. 5,000, with the 20 highest offers to win copies of the book. All proceeds from the week-long auction, organised by collectibillia and the publisher Random House, will be donated to the YouWeCan Foundation. The money raised, he said, would aid in “the opening of more cancer detection centres, making them easily accessible to people, since early detection of the disease, is a battle half won.”
