Sreekanth helps Andhra to massive win

Andhra, riding on a century (153) by K. Sreekanth, defeated Goa by 199 runs in the South India under-25 inter-State tournament here on Thursday.

In another tie, Karnakata defeated Kerala by four wickets.

The scores: Andhra 400 for six in 50 overs (K. Sreekanth 153, Gulfam Saleh 68, Sriram 37, Siva Charan 36, Malliksab Shirur four for 62) bt Goa 201 in 43.2 overs (Shivam Amonkar 66, Malliksab 60, Vaibhav 39, Manohar three for 32, Surendra Krishna three for 65). Points: Andhra 4, Goa 0 .

Kerala 189 in 44.2 overs (Jofin Jose 51, Vishnu Mohan 49, Siddharth three for 37) lost to Karnataka 192 for six in 41.5 overs (Nirmal 48 n.o., Bhavesh 35 n.o., Pratinsh 35, Ashish Mathew three for 50). Karnataka 4, Kerala 0 .
