Andhra made 306 for six in 100 overs against Maharashtra in its first innings at the end of the first day's play in the quarterfinals of the all-India under-16 knockout cricket tournament for the Vijay Merchant Trophy at Nagpur on Saturday.

Ricky Bhui's 179 (23x4, 1x6) was the highlight of the day's play.
