An emergency meeting of the working committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has been called for June 10 in New Delhi to discuss Rajasthan Royals co-owner Raj Kundra’s alleged role in betting, Board’s interim president Jagmohan Dalmiya said on Thursday.

The meeting would look into charges and take stern action, if need be, he told journalists here. He, however, said he was not aware of the name of Shilpa Shetty, Mr. Kundra’s wife, figuring in the investigation into spot-fixing charges.

There are reports that no action is contemplated or will be taken against both CSK and RRs by the Working Committee.

This is reported to be on the grounds that proceeds are yet be distributed from the Central Pool and both teams have to participate in the Champions Trophy!

Are money and participation of tainted teams in a tournament more important than the reputation of the game itself?
So, it is all money, honey.
What more proof is needed? One owner is arrested and charged but let
out on bail and the other part owner has admitted to betting. Both
have admitted to betting on their own teams.

What if both the teams have qualified for Champions Trophy? The game is in disrepute.

Even if the owners bring disrepute to the game by indulging in betting and traded insider information, the jokers administering the game will not suspend the teams. Rule 11(3)(c)goes for a six!

Mera Bharat Mahaan. All is well.now let us seen how Dalmia will clean up Cricket!

will he resign out of shame in the light of the scandals pre emptively?
Throw away all the cigarettes and lighter and nicotine patches or any
other aid to quit smoking and pledge a donation to a cancer institute in
anticipation of becoming a future patient there. Just the cost of daily
cigarettes to begin with.
