Corruption allegations against Shami to be probed

The CoA chairman Vinod Rai has instructed BCCI’s ACU chief Neeraj Kumar to probe the corruption allegations laid against cricketer Mohammad Shami by his wife Hasin Jahan.

Rai has written to Kumar over the the allegations against Shami and asked Kumar to submit a report within a week.

Rai asserted in the letter that the investigation would be limited to the corruption issues only and not deal with any other allegations against Shami unless they fell within the purview of Anti-Corruption Code.
