The BCCI has chosen former India captain Anil Kumble to deliver the second Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi Memorial Lecture on the eve of the second Test between India and West Indies here on November 13.

In a statement released by the BCCI, Kumble has said: “It will be a great honour to deliver the second Pataudi Memorial Lecture. Tiger Pataudi was one of those who shaped the history of Indian cricket by leading from the front. We will always be indebted to him for his impact on Indian cricket, as a player and leader.”

The BCCI has invited the Pataudi family, former India captains, cricketers who played Test cricket with Pataudi and BCCI office-bearers.

The India and West Indies teams will also attend the lecture.

The inaugural lecture was delivered by Sunil Gavaskar.
