Alone, in the cockpit

April 07, 2015 01:36 am | Updated 01:36 am IST

Amazing complex human mind

Depth, no SONAR can ever find

Algorithms can’t explain why

One man is extrovert, another shy.

Even great minds get negative thoughts

But logic quickly wipes those blots

With modern life’s chronic stress

Dark depressive thoughts gain access

A depressed brain doesn’t shock absorb

Destructive thoughts become unruly mob.

Alone in the cockpit, above the cloud

What happened to the pilot's mind is mystery shroud

In minute's time his clouded brain

Decided to destroy the passenger plane

For grieving families, shattered lives, piecemeal,

The wound would perhaps never heal.

Alone, in life’s cockpit, we are still arcane,

Planes fly-by-wire, not human brain.
