Stumped by the court

Indian cricket is in a confused state, from player to president, tainted by the IPL scam. With the Supreme Court coming into the picture and asking BCCI president >N. Srinivasan to step aside (March 26), this is the time to call a spade a spade and save cricket.

Match-fixing even in the IPL has spoiled whatever cricketing image we had left. Successive overseas defeats show where we stand in the world of cricket. The murky goings-on in the BCCI will now have to be revealed and one can expect a lot of dirty linen to be washed in public and egos to take a battering.
