The Rs.5,800-crore reconstruction programme aimed at incentivising Kashmiri Pandits to return to the Kashmir Valley is an example of what real secularism is all about (June 13). It should prove to be an example of Centre-State cooperation at its best.

Of course there will be opposition to this plan to ensure that it does not succeed or brings credit to the Prime Minister. The Pandits must be able to get their property back and have their protection guaranteed. All political parties in Jammu and Kashmir must cooperate in this plan with the Central government.
