Activist Arvind Kejriwal’s contention is spot on (editorial, “Follow the money,” Nov.12). A thorough probe has to be initiated into the investments made in foreign banks. It will help in identifying that the rightful dues to the nation are not allowed to vanish and that unaccounted monies are not spent on terrorism and non-social activities.

One cannot fathom the inability of UPA-II to come clean (“Kejriwal fires another salvo, now at HSBC for money laundering,” Nov. 10 & “Probe under way into French information, says FinMin,” Nov. 11). While there is growing perception that the government has much to hide, the Opposition need not rub its hands in glee.
