Thirunakshathiram celebration of Srimath Azhagiasingar

The 84th Thirunakshathiram (Avatara Mahotsavam) of the 45th Srimath Azhagiasingar of Sri Ahobila Math, Sri Lakshiminrisimha Divyapaduka Sevaka Srivan Sathakopa Sri Narayana Yatheenthra Mahadesikan, will be celebrated on Tuesday.

A release from the Math stated that the celebrations would be held at its regional headquarters in Aarthi Nagar, Selaiyur, East Tambaram.

The celebrations will begin on Tuesday morning with pujas for Lord Malola Nrisimhan, presiding deity of Ahobila Math, at the golden mandapam. Viswaroopa Darshnam at 6.30 a.m. will be followed by Abhigamana Aradhanam. Mangala Harathi will be at 8.30 a.m. followed by Sathumurai, Theertha Prasadha Ghoshti and Sri Satari.

Sripadhatheertham will be distributed to devotees around 10 a.m. The 45th Jeeyar and his deputy the 46th Jeeyar will receive Divya Desa Mariyadhai, the temple honours from Ahobilam and other major temples.

This will be followed by Dhadhiyaradhanam to all devotees at the Kalyana Mandapam of the math.
