19 officers of State Civil Services promoted

As many as 19 officers belonging to State Civil Services has been promoted to Indian Administrative Services on Thursday.

According to an official press release issued on Friday, V. Sampath, General Manager, Tamil Nadu Ex-Servicemen Corporation is transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner of Industries & Commerce in the place of M. Vijayakumar, already transferred.

C.N. Maheswaran is posted as Joint Commissioner of Civil Supplies & Consumer Protection.T. Munusamy, District Revenue Officer, Chennai is transferred and posted as Joint Commissioner (Land), Land Administration Department against P. Senthil Kumar (DRO) holding additional charge.

S. Sivashanmugaraja, Joint Transport Commissioner on return from leave is posted as Deputy Secretary to Government, Public Department.B. Maheshwari, Joint Commissioner (Administration), office of the Director of Municipal Administration is posted as Joint Commissioner of Municipal Administration in the place of Reeta Harish Thakkar, holding additional charge. Consequently, Ms. Thakkar shall function as Member Secretary, Fourth State Finance Commission. V. Amuthavalli is posted as Additional Registrar of Co-operative Societies. M. Mathivanan, State Programme Manager, State Health Society is transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner of Sugar in the place of K. Rajendran holding additional charge.

J. Jeyakanthan, Special Officer, Chief Minister's Secretariat is posted as Special Officer, Chief Minister's Secretariat. K. Baskaran, Special Officer, Chief Minister's Special Cell and Director of Information & Public Relations and Ex-Officio Deputy Secretary to Government (in-charge), Tamil Development, Religious Endowments & Information Department is posted as Director Information & Public Relations. He will also be the Ex-officio Deputy Secretary to Government, Tamil Development, Religious Endowments & Information Department. Mr. Baskaran shall also function as Special Officer, Chief Minister's Special Cell.

V. Shantha, Deputy Commissioner, Corporation of Coimbatore is transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to Government, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department in the place of S. Nagarajan, who is posted as Additional Director, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department. S. Natarajan, Special District Revenue Officer (LA-NH), Tirunelveli is transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to Government, Revenue Department.V. Rajaraman, District Revenue Officer, Monitoring Unit, Chief Minister's Office is posted as Deputy Secretary, Monitoring Unit, Chief Minister's Office.K. Nagarajan, General Manager, Tamil Nadu Warehousing Corporation is transferred and posted as Joint Commissioner (DM & M), office of the Commissioner of Revenue Administration in the place of A. Karthik, holding additional charge.

Manimekalai, Inspection Officer - III, Personnel & Administrative Reforms (Training) Department is transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to Government, Labour and Employment Department in the place of D. Uthirakkumaran, already transferred.R. Selvaraj, Special District Revenue Officer (LA-NH-47), Tiruppur & Coimbatore Districts at Coimbatore is transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to Government, Health & Family Welfare Department in the place of Selvi Apoorva, already transferred. R. Lilly, General Manager, Tamil Nadu Co-operative Milk Producers Federation Ltd is transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to Government, Transport Department in the place of A. Mohammed Aslam, already transferred. K. Maharabushanam is appointed as Executive Director, Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board.K.S. Palanisami is appointed as Commissioner, Corporation of Salem.M. Karnunakaran is appointed as Joint Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Co-operative Milk Producers Federation Ltd.
