Sonia on three-day Rae Bareli visit from Monday

Congress President Sonia Gandhi will undertake a three-day tour of her parliamentary constituency of Rae Bareli from November 29.

“On the first day of her visit, the Congress President will tour her constituency and is likely to visit some villages,” chief of Congress media department Akhilesh Pratap Singh said here today.

He said on the second day Sonia will continue her inspection tour, besides meeting party workers and unveiling a statue of noted Hindi writer Acharya Mahaveer Prasad Dwiwedi at Daulatpur village. “On November 1, she will chair a meeting of district vigilance and monitoring committee,” Mr. Singh said.
